About Lisa, and the Silver Lining Ukulele Community:

Greetings! I’m Lisa McCormick, a lifelong professional musician, instructor, and ukulele lover.

I’ve been teaching music my whole life, focusing on creating fun, approachable ways for adults to learn music - while building confidence and joy.

In April 2020, during a time of global isolation due to the pandemic, I began facilitating a free weekly Zoom ukulele gathering as a way to bring people together through music.

What began as a small idea quickly grew into a vibrant and thriving phenomenon: The Silver Lining Ukulele Community.

We’ve been strumming and singing nearly every Saturday since, with participants joining from around the world!
